Compare Lume

How Lume compares to the other AI product photography tools, to editing software, and to booking a studio, on the things that actually decide the choice.

How to compare tools in this category

Headline prices in AI product photography are close to meaningless on their own, because vendors meter different things. Some sell a flat number of generated images per month. Some sell credits weighted by operation, so an upscale and a background generation cost different amounts. Some meter generation and export as two separate budgets, so a plan can run out of one while the other is untouched. Before comparing two prices, work out how many finished, usable images each plan actually produces for the way you work.

The second thing worth checking early is the commercial licence. Several tools in this category exclude commercial use from their free tier, and at least one starts it partway up the paid range rather than at the first paid plan. If the images are going on a storefront, that detail decides which tier you actually need.

The last one is workflow shape. Tools that generate from a written description give you a wide space and ask you to steer it. A template catalogue narrows that space on purpose: the scenes are designed in advance, so the work becomes selection rather than art direction. Neither is better in the abstract, but they suit different people, and it is the difference you will feel on day one.

Competitor pricing on these pages is read from each vendor's own pricing page, with the date it was checked shown on the page. Vendors change pricing often, so treat those figures as a snapshot and confirm at the source before making a decision.
